Message	bit off. You will find LOTS of C4 vettes with the "polo green" paint, my dad bought a polo green GMC Jimmy around the same time. It was just a trend, along with the chrome oem wheels, and electro-gold plating all the emblems which became really popular. I couldnt tell you why, why do any trends take hold for that matter?
